In an unprecedented medical experiment, humanoid robots succeeded in remotely controlled gallbladder removal from live animals. These robots did not operate independently; expert surgeons guided them remotely, successfully completing two minimally invasive surgeries.
The results of this experiment were published in the prestigious journal Nature and showed that if this method reaches clinical stages, it could enable the performance of advanced surgeries in small hospitals and clinics that do not have the resources to install expensive surgical robots. Humanoid robots not only cost less and require less space but can also be easily used in remote areas, war zones, or even space missions.
