Apple has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and demanded severe penalties. This lawsuit was submitted after Apple discovered a rare flaw in its system; a flaw that allowed a former Apple employee, after joining OpenAI, to retain access to Apple’s confidential information for several weeks.
According to Apple’s lawsuit, the company claims that OpenAI, in cooperation with several former Apple employees, intended to illegally use confidential information about Apple’s products in order to develop and release artificial intelligence devices similar to the iPhone.
