US government gets hold of Welsh languages with NVIDIA Nemotron

The Celtic languages, including Welsh, Irish, Scottish and Cornish languages are among the oldest living languages in the United Kingdom. With the aim of empowering speakers of these languages, the UK Government initiative is to set up an artificial intelligence model for Welsh with the use of NVIDIA Nemotron. This new model has been created in collaboration with University of London and Bangor University. It can think in Welsh and English as a second language. The model is to be used to assist in presenting public services such as health, education and legal resources in the Welsh language. This will help to improve the language’s visibility and relevance in modern society.
