Google released its financial report for the second quarter of 2026 and, as expected, once again recorded impressive revenue; Google's total revenue reached $119.8 billion, surpassing analysts' predictions. However, the company's stock price declined due to a significant increase in Google's investments in artificial intelligence infrastructure, to the extent that, for the first time in history, Google's cash flow turned negative in a single quarter.
Google's search segment still accounts for the largest share of revenue with $63.3 billion, and its cloud service, with a 23.8% growth compared to the previous quarter, contributed $24.8 billion to the total revenue, reflecting the high market demand for Google's AI technologies. Other revenues, including subscriptions, platforms, hardware, and YouTube advertising, also showed good growth; however, the heavy costs of investing in artificial intelligence led to a substantial decline in Google's operating cash flow, turning it negative for the first time.
