Anthropic, one of the leading artificial intelligence companies, announced that it has hired Mariano-Florentino (Tino) Cuéllar as its Chief Global Affairs Officer.
Cuéllar, who previously has a distinguished background in law and governance, will be responsible for leading international relations, engaging with regulatory bodies, and developing Anthropic's global strategies in this new position. This appointment comes at a time when competition to establish ethical and legal standards for AI has intensified around the world.
