A new research project titled TutorMoments addresses one of the fundamental challenges in the field of digital education: detecting the precise timing of AI intervention in the learning process. This study examines whether AI teachers are capable of understanding the difference between a genuine need for help and an opportunity for the student’s independent thinking.
The primary goal of this project is to optimize the behavior of intelligent educational systems so that, instead of providing immediate answers, they allow students to grapple with challenges. Creating this balance is vital for strengthening problem-solving skills in learners, and TutorMoments is considered a significant step toward making AI educational interactions more intelligent.
